Bursting with inspirational colours and textures, the Minerals room at the Natural History Museum has to be one of my favourite places in London.

Set in beautiful Victorian display cabinets, you'll find hundreds, perhaps thousands of stunning natural forms. From crystal clear diamonds to iridescent, multicoloured opals, this spectacular collection of minerals is not to be missed.
